Resumo
Mr. Mandlate is a Civil Engineer with 19 years of experience in engineering, namely in planning, designing and managing Engineering Projects with focus on Water Supply and Sanitation studies and construction, managing water resources, preparing tender documents, organizing tenders and evaluating proposals for consultancy services and works as per the World Bank, AfDB, MCC and FIDIC requirements, and Managing & Supervising Construction Works. Mr. Mandlate is also very much familiar with Health and Safety Best Practice, including the International Finance Corporation (IFC) Performance Standards and Environmental, Health and Safety Guidelines, with one week training delivered by MCC Independent Consultant. Mandlate is currently working for Fundo de Investimento e Património do Abastecimento de Água – FIPAG (Investment Fund and Water Supply Asset Holder), performing the Position of Construction Advisor for Water Services and Institutional Support Project II (WASIS II) and Integrated Growth Poles Project (IGPP), both funded by the World Bank. Under this position he is responsible for assisting in planning, procurement of consultancy services and works contracts as well as management of all construction activities, scheduling budgeting, etc. The project features include a construction of more than 10,000m3 reservoirs for water storage, more than 40 km of DN500 transmission mains, more than 100 km of network, treatment plants, etc. Previously, Mr. Mandlate performed successfully the Position of Project Director of the Massingir Dam Rehabilitation Project, funded by the African Development Bank, under which he was responsible for planning, procurement of consultancy services and works contracts as well as management of all construction activities, scheduling budgeting, etc. The project features included a construction of 10,000m3 capacity auxiliary spillway and rehabilitation of the bottom outlets of the dam, both completed successfully.
