
From 2013 to 2018 I was the Country Health, Safety and Environment Manager in the G4S Secure Solutions in Mozambique (with more than 12.000 employees), where with a great team was developed and implemented three very good programs that reduced in 76,86% (since 2013) the number of total accidents in the Company and 90% reduction in road trafic accidents (HSSEC Program; Road Safety Program and Weapons Safety Program); • Awarded with the "Safety Leadership Award" by the CEO of G4S Africa Region in 2016; • Distinguished as Best G4S Manager in 2014 (Manager of the year 2014); • Certified by British Safety Council as an internationally qualified member of IOSH (Institution of Occupational Safety) in 24 February 2016; • Awarded the professional qualification level Senior Member by the CEO of the Order of Engineers of Portugal, on 28 May 2012; • Speaks Portuguese (mother language), Spanish, English and French; • More than 15 years of experience planning and supervising works in Health and Safety, fire protection, emergency plans, facilities management (water supply and sanitation, roads and buildings, electrical and mechanical systems); • More than 6 years of experience working with US Army in an Military International Organization (NATO- North Atlantic Treaty Organization), responsible for Headquarters facilities management, health & safety, fire protection, emergency plans; • From 2008 to 2012, I was Project Manager and the Military Engineer responsible for technical assistance/consulting in the Military Academy of the Armed Forces in Mozambique in a Project of Military-Technical Cooperation (training and organization of Military Engineers course ); • In Portuguese Armed Forces (for 25 years), I was a Military Engineer and Security Officer responsible for the Health & Safety and security of personnel, facilities maintenance in military installations and buildings, operations and informations, mines, explosives, weapons,
