Mr. Valerio has relevant professional experience in Citizen engagement, participation and Governance working with Municipalities and District Government in the Provinces of Cabo Delgado, Niassa, Nampula, Zambezia and Sofala: Provision of information and capacity development support to citizens and civil society to increased citizens’ and civil society awareness, capability, and willingness to participate; Enable the Citizens and civil society to monitor government functioning, voice concerns, and promote accountability. Train and promote spaces of dialogue and interaction between government and Citizen and civil society to build voices and ensuring monitoring results are shared with authorities, media, and public. Lead the increased public pressure on authorities to respond, change behavior, and reduce corruption, improved governance outcomes and development effectiveness. Mr. Valerio Ussene worked in Emergency Programs focused on HIV and livelihoods restoration of People Living with IHV and people affected by IHV in the districts of Majune, Muembe, Sanga, Mandimba, Cuamba and Ngauma, in Niassa Province, for 12 months of 2007. Four Months of Emergency project as Technical Adviser on COVID-19, focused on resilience of Artisanal miners in Ancuabe District, in Cabo Delgado Province, from November 2020 to April 2021. 3.
