Eric is detailed oriented professional with more than 20 years of hands-on experience Budget, Finance, Program Management and Administration. Eric has professional experience in financial analyses and accountability systems, program budgeting, budget planning, documentation, acquisition, and execution, related to international development assistance programs involving design, management, and implementation in developing countries, and he is highly skilled in Planning, Executing and Reporting budget, analyze the financial status as well as recommending budget or financial measures to improve projects performance. Eric holds degree in Law, with an extensive budget experience (from 2004 to 2023) providing financial services and working on Development agencies. Eric is a Development Program Specialist (Budget) at USAID Mozambique, since September 2013, providing full range of budgeting services to the PEPFAR team including Country Operational Planning, Execution and Reporting. He also coordinates several processes such as the obligation of funds, monitoring and reporting partners pipeline, supporting Implementing Partners on the Expenditure Reporting. Prior to joining USAID, Eric was Program and Deputy Finance Officer at DFID Mozambique performing several assignments, such as Program design and monitoring, Budget, Financial assessments, and partners performance against targets. Eric has good communication skills enabling him to easily connect, understand and respond to the needs of internal and external stakeholders, including government officials and donors’ community. He also possesses leadership skills empowering him to coordinate multidisciplinary teams toward achieving effective results.
