As an experienced physician and project manager with over 7 years of expertise in public health and project management in challenging environments, I am well-suited for the role of Project Management Specialist (DREAMS). My background includes managing multi-faceted health projects focusing on HIV, TB, and other infectious diseases, as well as overseeing emergency and disaster preparedness initiatives. I have successfully led projects aimed at strengthening community resilience and social cohesion in conflict-affected regions, demonstrating strong skills in strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, and resource management. In my current role as a Senior Project Manager in Armed Conflict Zones with CISLAMO, I have coordinated complex health and economic development projects, ensuring successful outcomes through meticulous planning, effective risk management, and collaboration with local and international partners, such as Catholic Relief Services and Ariel Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation. My experience also includes implementing monitoring and evaluation frameworks to measure project impact and improve program effectiveness, skills that are crucial for overseeing the DREAMS program. With a robust understanding of USAID regulations and a commitment to promoting the health and empowerment of adolescent girls and young women, I am prepared to lead the DREAMS initiative in Mozambique to achieve its strategic objectives.
