Resumo
Mrs. Elina Ricotso Chiluvane holds an MSc in Investment and Finance (with Distinction) from the University of Strathclyde, awarded under the prestigious Chevening Scholarship. She has six years of professional experience in financial planning and reporting, cross-border treasury operations, accounting, shareholder engagement, and contractual compliance across multinational firms. Among her main accomplishments are leading the establishment and scaling of the Treasury and Financial Planning & Reporting divisions from the ground up, including process design, execution, and team coordination. She supported the disbursement of about USD 7 billion under complex financial structures for the Coral FLNG Project, enabling its on-time completion, and co-developed a cash-flow management model that prevented liquidity shortfalls and generated over USD 30 million in interest income over five years. She also contributed to the project’s transition from development to production and shareholder distribution, coordinating new procedures, contractual compliance, and regulatory engagement with the Central Bank of Mozambique, intragroup firms, and senior management. As a result, she was promoted from Officer to Financial Planning and Reporting Coordinator within three years, a position she held for another three years. Her core expertise includes financial analysis and reporting, cash-flow management, debt disbursement, financial modelling, valuation, and contractual compliance. A lifelong learner, she has completed 24 modules of the Financial Modelling and Valuation Analyst (FMVA) certification and is preparing for the CFA Level I exam in May 2026. She is also an active member of Toastmasters International. Her most distinguished academic achievement remains her Chevening selection, where she earned Distinction and three awards, including the Bashorun Abiola Prize for Top African Student.
