Resumo

Aniceto Mateus is PhD in Global Health and Sustainability (GHS), researcher in global health, public health, and epidemiology, with advanced Bio-Statistical and M&E skills and strong background on HIV/AIDS; Health System Strengthening (HSS); ASRHR; GBV; Malaria prevention; Nutrition and Health. Technically well trained and highly committed with child and maternal health, as well as with TB, Malaria and HIV response in Mozambique. Currently, he is leading the HIV, Health, and Development portfolio at United nations Development Programme (UNDP) – in which are running two projects (WeBelongAfrica - Young Key-Populations and UBRAF) which are being managed by him – and he is the focal point at United Nations Joint Team (UNJT) for UNDP, where is leading the Governance Group. Proven experience in management, coordination, and implementation of public health related programs, including social development projects, with deep knowledge of the National HIV/AIDS Control Program, including their challenges and priorities. He has, as well, experience of working with different partners and stakeholders providing technical support, capacity building and institutional strengthening, such as Government institutions, UN Agencies, NGOs, community-based organizations (CBOs), organizations of persons with disability (OPDs), as well as with community and religious leaders.
