Demonstrating the proper use of safety equipment and facilities to the workers - Rectifies the spotted error out rightly to prevent any untoward incident - Conducted safety training and educational talks to different offices - In-depth knowledge of legislation (eg. OSHA/EPA) 14001 & 18000 and procedures - Knowledge of potentially hazardous materials or practices - Experience in writing reports and policies for health and safety - Familiarity with conducting data analysis and reporting statistics RESPONSIBILITIES:- - Inspects the site to ensure it is a hazard free environment - Conducts toolbox meetings - Is party of the project safety council and leads all efforts to enhance safety - Safety officer reviews and approves all subcontractor's safety plans - Verifies that injury log books and reports are completed and submitted to related government agencies - Verifies that all tools and equipment are adequate and safe for use - Promotes safe practices at the job site - Enforce safety guidelines - Conducts investigations of all accidents and near-misses - Report to the Director - Conducts job hazards analyses
