Resumo

I am a Professor at Rovuma University (former Nampula Delegation of the Pedagogical University), Consultant and Environmental Auditor Sworn by the Ministry of Land and Environment. In terms of training, I have a PhD in Territory, Risks and Public Policy from the University of Lisbon (2021), a Master in Environmental Management and Development from The Australian National University (2011) and a Degree in Geography (2006). I have more than 10 years of experience in coordination, management and in environmental and social consulting and auditing. My experience, in addition to teaching and assuming coordination and management positions at the University, has been a provincial advisor for Disaster Risk Reduction and Adaptation to Climate Change at the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), in the province of Nampula (2012-2014). Additionally, I was Urban Specialist for the Future Cities Africa Project of the Cities Alliance, UNOPS and UNHabitat (2015). My experience in environmental and social consulting and audits fits with expression in areas of natural resources, mining, agriculture, fisheries, goods production industries. In projects subsidized by the World Bank with the inclusion of Complaints Mechanisms, I was responsible for the elaboration of the Environmental and Social Management Plan (ESMP) of the Tete Business Center (2017), EIA and ESMPs of Amarula Farms in Nampula province (2017). ), EIA and ESMP from Miruku in Nampula (2018), EAS and ESMP from SBS Gurué (2018), EIA and ESMP from Prapesca in Ilha de Moçambique (2019), preparation of the Environmental and Social Management Plan for the Integrated Development Project of Tertiary Roads (IFRDP) in Nampula province (2021).
