Resumo

Over 10 years of progressive professional experience in the INGO sector, managing projects and programs focused on Rural Development, MSD-market system Development Approach, Nutrition, Food security, and Livelihoods. He has extensive experience leading teams, managing grants, designing and implementing development programs, engaging with governments, and strengthening strategic relations with multiple stakeholders—a skilled community-driven development process facilitator and Christian. He is currently working for iDE as the project manager for the Promoting Market Adaptability and Resilient Ecosystems (ProMare) project. The US$5.5 million agricultural project, funded by Norway, is designed to help communities in Cabo Delgado and Nampula provinces recover from recent shocks and build long-term resilience using the MSD Approach. Before joining iDE, Juvêncio worked as a country program advisor at World Renew Mozambique (Conservation agriculture, livelihoods, WASH, and Nutrition) in Niassa Province. He began his career working on a food security and livelihood project for ARO Mozambique in Cabo Delgado. He then worked for Fairtrade International in Mozambique, Angola, Sao Tome Island, Swaziland, and South Africa, offering business development support to different private sector organizations. As a CONSULTANT, he worked as a freelance auditor for CONTROL UNION, conducting Agriculture labor practice audits and training for the Private Sector in Mozambique and Malawi. Juvêncio holds a degree in Development from the Catholic University of Eastern Africa-Nairobi, Kenya, and is pursuing a Master's in Agribusiness from Unilúrio Business School (UBS). He is fluent in Portuguese and English.
