Sérgio Ussene was Senior Consultant for the Tax consulting practice group at SAL & Caldeira Advogados, Lda. during approximately 6 years. Has a Master’s degree in Accounting, Tax and Corporate Finance, by ESAEN – Higher School of High Studies and Business in partnership with ISEG Lisbon University, 2017-2018 (thesis pending). Completed honor degree in Accounting and Auditing from the Polytechnic University. Has an Accounting, Management and Auditing Certificate from the Institute of Computer Science and Management; is a Technical Expert in Accounts accredited by Mozambique Tax Authorities. He provides advisory services on general Tax matters, including Audits, Legal (Due Diligence) on Tax compliance, VAT refunds, Mergers of Companies, and has experience as Rescue Administrator in the scope of the legal Insolvency Regime and Recuperation of Commercial Entrepreneurs. He also registered with the Association of Accountants and Auditors of Mozambique (OCAM).
