Jofre Bamo, Mozambican, holds a degree in Informatics with a specialization in Software Engineering and Development from Universidade Pedagógica (UP) and currently works in the management of the DIKA startup and engineering and software development. He is a native of Maputo where he started his career in entrepreneurship in the area of Information and Communication Technologies in the middle of 2016, having previously participated in startup creation events organized in Maputo. During the process of entrepreneurship, he underwent several learning processes, where he developed the ability to develop and manage a startup, becoming junior software developer and junior consultant in the area of Information and Communication Technology. In 2015 he participated in the contest Startup Weekend Maputo, an event organized by Google for Entrepreneurs where he developed the ability of creating a startup and how to use the new Information Technologies of Communication to solve problems of society. In 2016, he participated in the contest Hackerthon Saude 2016, where he had to present a solution able to assist in the process of dissemination of information and data collection in the area of Sexual and Reproductive Health and HIV / AIDS Prevention, in which he was the winner of the first place of the contest. In 2017 he participated in the event Seedstars Africa Summit, in which he presented the startup DIKA (innovation) that is currently part of the UNFPA INNOVATION program supported by UNFPA. In 2019 he Participated in Hack4Moz, an event supported by PDE (Programa de Desenvolvimento Espacial) and World Bank with partnership of , where he presented the start- up DIKA and he won the first place. His thirst for knowledge and willingness to reach new horizons, have led him to follow new challenges having throughout his career passed through several formations that stand out the Monitoring and Evaluation of Projects, Startup Management and Team Management.
