PROFILE SUMMARY I am a Junior Credit Analyst at Allianz Trade South Africa, specializing in trade credit insurance. I have gained experience in credit risk management, financial statements analysis and portfolio management (minimum of 40 clients/counterparties managed on a monthly basis). I currently have a mandate of €500,000 and I manage a diverse portfolio with exposures ranging from €10,000 to €3,000,000. My current portfolio of clients operate in various industries such as, manufacturing, automotive, construction, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, agri-foods, textiles, and papers.. I have gained experience in financial analysis for current and historical financial performance of counterparties (balance sheet, income statement and cashflow statement) , ratio and trend analysis, and this insight is used to assess the creditworthiness of counterparties and make informed recommendations and mitigate risk effectively. My proactive approach and attention to detail enable me to identify growth opportunities and ensure the security of cash flow and profit lines for clients. I have learnt to be adept at efficiently managing tasks. Part of my experience has also included conducting JSE listing reviews, handling adhoc tasks such as alerts and adjustments, and managing group ticketing queries from business units worldwide. Additionally, I conduct monthly portfolio management with a senior credit manager, attend supervised virtual site visits, and engage in due diligence using external service providers such as Inoxico, TransUnion, and Experian. I have experience in presenting significant/material changes in counterparties to the credit committee for discussions to determine the appropriate response to the changes and the risk position/ exposure we have.
