I accepted a position of Community Relation and Social Development Superintendent leading a team of 17 members. My responsibilities are to fulfil and comply with Resettlement Projects, community engagement, social responsibility of the host communities under their livelihood activities and, the implementation of Social Development Plan as agreed between the company and the Mozambique. Also, I am responsible for the external affairs of ICVL in Mozambique. I provide routine, urgent and with intelligence my duties having my first responsibly of providing land for the company to mine. I lead the planning and now the implementation of the resettlement action plan (RAP) for the affected families by the Benga mine operations. Design and implement small businesses for social restoration of Mualadzi community towards achieving good practices and company goals.Currently, I am Community Relation and Social Performance Superintendent at ICVL in Mozambique from end of 2016 till date. My role is to implement resettlement, assure the proper community engagement, responsible for the external affairs, and deal with compensation matters. Before I worked for Germany Agency for Technical Cooperation in Manica on Implementation of social development projects and I have worked in Environmental Assessment and recycling the effluents of chicken and production nurseries and forest seedlings for the reforestation of areas on degraded land in Manica.
