WORK -Collaborated with farmers to advice on benefits of upgrading equipments to advanced technologies. -Provided guidance to processors in order for them to do better in marketing. CORE SKILLS -Adaptable to new situations and able to work under pressure. -Strong English verbal and written communication skills. -Ability to use a computer, knowledge in Microsoft Word, Excel, Microsoft Power Point, SPSS and e-mail. MAJOR ACCOMPLISHMENTS -I shared ideas and one of them was having a radio programme in which they would communicate with the farmers. This was because not all farmers can afford a television. Most of them can afford and own a radio.By doing this action, farmers are not only motivated but can learn more about farming such as new technology methods for improving agricultural productivity for example drip irrigation. This idea was implemented and it worked as expected. -I attented a training section in marketing in where I gained a certificate in marketing. This has assisted me by helping farmers to promote their businesses. Increase access to market information such as prices on the market and availability of storage facilities. DISTINGUISHES -As a personal mission, I strive to empower and improve other's outlook and life circumstances. I believe being genuine and nurturing, along with professional and driven, is an essential combination for people in my field. I possess good collaboration, managerial and team building skills. Additionally, my abilities extend to leadership and Interpersonal with proficiency in communication. Working with people from diverse backgrounds has provided me with a deep understanding and awareness of differences in both individuals and organisations.
