Augusto Gove, with over 12 years of experience in Accounting and more than 3 years in leadership and management roles. He started his career as an Accountant in 2012 for 5 years, then more than 2 years as Supervisor in a power generation business. After that, he was a Senior Accountant for more than 2 years in an oil & gas company, and then he joined a banking company in 2022, where he stayed less than 1 year. After a career break, he started over at vehicle repair business in May 2023 where he stayed 1 year then moved to FMCG industry, which is his current employment. Throughout his career, He was responsible for the preparation of financial statements, balance sheet review, analysis of profit/loss accounts, budgeting and forecasting process, drawing up job description to his team, presentation of financial results to the internal stakeholders, monitoring and implementation of internal controls to reduce errors and risk of frauds. Augusto holds an Honours Degree in Accounting and Finance from University Eduardo Mondlane and he is a member of OCAM.
