I am a seasoned Lieutenant-colonel and an experienced Air Force officer with over 32 years of experience both as crew member and in Command & Control of air operations. My operational experience includes more than 5000 hours of flight in P-3 Orion CUP+ Maritime Patrol Aircraft as Tactical Coordinator conducting air operations as diverse as Anti-Submarine Warfare, Anti-Surface Warfare, ISR, Search & Rescue, Law Enforcement (Counter Narcotics and Counter Illegal Immigration), etc. During my career I was assigned to several duties in international missions involving managing and coordination of Air Operations, both Air Transport as well as Search and Rescue, ISR, etc. In 2021 I was deployed to Mozambique (Nampula) as Air navigation teacher and military adviser at “Academia Militar Marechal Samora Machel” for a period of one year. I am a qualified Air Navigator at the Portuguese Air Force with over 5000 hours of flight in Search & Rescue, ISR and Maritime Patrol Operations. I also hold a valid Commercial Pilot License (A) course with ATPL(A) theory attained at 7Air Academy. Currently I teach at 7Air Academy for the Integrated ATPL(A) course.
