
Aniceto Mateus is a PhD in Global Health and Sustainability (GHS), with strong background on scientific research in global health, public health, epidemiology, and social research, including advanced skills in data management and analysis and M&E skills. Deep knowledge on the National Health System, including professional experience on HIV/AIDS prevention; Nutrition and Health; gender-based violence (GBV); sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR); Prevention of Sexual Exploration and Abuse (PSEA); Child protection; and in health system strengthening (HSS). Currently, he is working as Senior Evaluations Advisor, at ICAP, where he is leading the research proposals design and implementation. Proven experience in management, coordination, and implementation of public health related programs and projects, including social development projects, with deep knowledge of community engagement and social and behavior change approach, disability inclusion approach and social protection and PSEA in human rights-based approach. He has, as well, experience of working with different partners and stakeholders providing technical support, capacity building and institutional strengthening, such as Government institutions, UN Agencies, NGOs, community-based organizations (CBOs), organizations of persons with disability (OPDs), as well as with community and religious leaders.
