Experienced in Human Resource (HR) Management within public and private sector, with expertise in SHRM (Strategic Human Resource Management), broad knowledge and experience in employment law, compensation, organizational planning, organization development, employee relations, safety, recruitment and training and development. He is currently Head of Training Division of Mozambique Revenue Authority (AT), a function preceded by Head of Strategic Human Resources Management Division of the same Institution. Mr. Matenja leads the process of elaborating the key management tools, the Training Plan and ensure its implementation and proper monitoring in more than 4000 workforce population nationwide. Mr Matenja is also Training focal point within the AT for the e-Learning platform (CLICK) with the World Customer Organization (WCO), and has led all processes of technical assistance to Human Resources and Training from donors, such as: International Monetary Fund (IMF), WCO trough NORAD project, Swedish Government, among others. As a head of Strategic Human Resource Management Division at Mozambique Revenue Authority, Mr. Matenja is leading efforts to increase the efficient HR management of organization. He coordinates all recruitment process of organization. He also helps in development of instrument of HR Management, such as: Remuneration policies, Career plan, development of job descriptions, job specifications, organization charts and other materials to describe positions and duties performed by employees.
