
Key Qualifications • Maria Violante da Graça Mussera Viola, Medical Doctor, graduated at Eduardo Mondlane University in 2004, has relevant experience in the areas of implementation, management, monitoring and evaluation of programs focusing on public health challenges facing Mozambique HIV/STI/ AIDS, Malaria, Tuberculosis and others; • Concluding final requirements for a master’s degree in public health with focus on Planning, Management and Information including Monitoring and Evaluation of Health Systems (2012-2014); • In the provinces of Niassa and Nampula served as Provincial Director, Provincial Chief Medical Coordinator, endemic diseases (HIV / AIDS, Malaria, Tuberculosis and Leprosy), oversaw plans, programs, objectives and targets for provincial health and health management at district level; • With ICAP at Columbia University worked at Zambezia Province as Provincial Program Manager, Coordinating the implementation of HIV / AIDS programs in the districts supported by the organization with a focus on integration, quality and coverage of prevention services, health counseling and testing, care and treatment supporting the Provincial Directorate of Health (DPS) attain ambitious HIV Acceleration Plan targets; • Currently working with m2m as Senior Technical Adviser, providing guidance to the in country team in the development and implementation of services at a cluster of m2m model sites, to set standards, test local context and providing Technical Assistance to MOH and Implementation Partners to implement high fidelity Mentor Mother Program;
