For the past six years, Claudina has been leading the DREAMS program, funded by USAID through PEPFAR, across 12 districts of Zambézia, reaching over 200,000 vulnerable adolescent girls and young women with the purpose to reduce new HIV infections. Along with their caregivers, these groups received comprehensive behavior change communication services focused on health to reinforce open communication, an area where Claudina worked closely with the PEPFAR, USAID, and partner teams. Claudina has also worked at World Vision Mozambique for seven years in the communications department as a Provincial Communications Officer. Through her leadership, World Vision gained additional funding from PEPFAR to produce a documentary on DREAMS. She led the production team and appeared as one of the main characters in the film. During her time at World Vision, she trained several youth groups, community leaders, and community radio journalists on behavior change messages. She also developed various behavior change communication materials that were broadcast in the media. Claudina served as the DREAMS Technical Coordinator, and due to her strong performance, she was entrusted by donors to continue leading the program at N’weti. Currently, she has been working at N’weti for five years, where, in addition to managing the DREAMS program, she produces content for manuals, magazines, internal newsletters, and success stories with images for donors and community use. As a Senior Officer at N’weti, Claudina is responsible for ensuring that DREAMS program goals and objectives are successfully achieved across 12 districts in Zambézia. She manages the DREAMS team, participates in donor meetings, coordinates with partners, drafts quarterly donor reports, and prepares annual plans for DREAMS activities.
