I am an Environmental Engineering and Natural Resources professional and for the past four years I have been engaged in environmental management and environmental protection programs in two reputable organizations. Besides, I was previously involved in the environmental and socio-economic management of a successful renewable energy project in Manica Province. The “Chitunga Micro-hydro and biogas Project ”, specifically contributed to the development of communities of approximately 13,000 inhabitants at the administrative post of Mavonde and Machipanda in the province of Manica. Currently I am working as a resilience advisor of development and humanitarian projects and my roles entail building institutional resilience as well as communities in the face of the negative impacts of climate change, the assessment of environmental risks for projects, contributing to the development of environmental management plans, disaster preparedness plans at organization and community levels. All through my tenures I have been able to acquire experience and skills for the design and implementation of sustainable development programs for the achievement of organizational goals and objectives.
