I hold a degree in Accounting and Auditing from University St Thomas Mozambique (USTM) and I have a Professional Banking Certification, accredited by the British Accreditation Council (BAC), acquired after a 6months professional training program in Lagos, Nigeria. I am currently Card Settlement and Reconciliation Officer in Absa Bank Mozambique where I do daily settlement, monitor and reconcile General Ledger, monitor and validate monthly MasterCard and Visa invoicing, as well as tracking financial trends and forecasting, I was also a team member in Financial Control Department at Access Bank Mozambique, where I Reviewed and performed audits on financial statements and reports, report discrepancies, record accounts payable and accounts receivable, additionally I gave support to Operations department for one year on their daily and monthly reconciliation, during this period I was responsible for Nostro, suspense GL, Debit card and ATM reconciliation. Previously, I worked as a Finance assistant at Woodrose international School where my responsibilities was but not limited to updating of financial spreadsheet with daily transactions, support monthly payroll and keep organized records, in addition to that I worked as transport manager in the same company and I was awarded as the best transport manager in 2015.
