I am Public Health Specialist in Epidemiology (Epidemiologist) and a Medical Doctor with master’s degree in public health, obtained at University of Pittsburgh, one of the most prestigious universities in United States of America. I have more than 18 years of clinical and public health experience and in health care services deliver at the individual and community level. I am experienced in strategic leadership for quality control evaluation of implementation deliverables. As a clinician, researcher and performing fieldwork in Mozambique I have acquired knowledge in the multisectoral systems which impacts resilience of Nutrition and Water Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) activities. I have a n excellent know-how on Nutrition and WASH programs and guideline implementation in the country. I have acquired expertise in disaster management of Nutrition and WASH activities; My decisions a based-on science, which I practice during my interventions. I have experience in the development of strategic program and plan in public health and research activities, as well as in planning, designing, risk assessment, implementation, evaluation, and management of health programs and health research projects. I worked for many years delivering technical support and guidance to local health authorities in Central Region to strengthen health systems. I have attained expertise in leadership, coordination and collaboration with national and international organizations or institutions. I have acquired skills in negotiation of agreements for collaboration. I perform statistical data analysis using software such as Stata, SAS, R, to produce scientific reports. I am expert in developing budgets, write grants, manage fiscal year budgets, and approve financial reports. I am a highly motivated and I communicate very well with team members and stakeholders.
