
Paul is a Professional Agricultural/Civil Engineer and has 34 year’s engineering experience, 30 years of which in the water engineering field and +4 years in the alternative energy field. Paul provides specialist input on agriculture/civil water-related projects. He is experienced in the planning, design (concept, preliminary & final), construction procurement, contract and project management and quality control of; earthen and concrete dams, irrigation systems (rural, small scale & commercial), water supply (bulk & reticulation) and treatment systems such as desalination plants, boreholes, etc. and sewerage related municipality, mining and private development projects, township infrastructure civil services and alternative energy systems (hydro, solar & wind). He has successfully managed a large number of projects relating to water supply planning and design and has developed and optimised his engineering planning, design and management skills in a variety of projects focusing on water supply, irrigation and management. Paul has been responsible for the management, financial and development issues as well as technical aspects of water supply projects which include earthen/concrete dams, reservoirs, agricultural irrigation systems & soil water management, domestic/rural supply systems and mining water supply & recycling systems. He has experience outside South Africa and has worked in Botswana, Lesotho, Mozambique and Swaziland and worked on projects in Kenya and Nigeria. Clients included Government Institutes, Private and Mining Companies.
