With over 15 years consolidated cross industry experience in finance, audit and taxation, Tânia Manhiça is a governance driven individual with great passion for highly functional internal control environments. Ms Manhiça has held executive positions as Senior Manager for Finance & Commercial in the Oil & Gas, IT/Telecommunications and FMCG industry as well as Governance, Compliance and Ethics Officer in the Oil and Gas Industry. Ms Manhiça initiated her career as an external auditor in one of the Big 4 audit companies. Ms Manhica is a member of N'weti's audit committee, providing governance oversight. N'weti is an NGO focusing on health education and communication. Ms. Manhiça holds an Advanced Diploma in Management Accounting by the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA), a Bachelors of Commerce (BCom) in Accounting Science and a BCom Honours Post-Graduate degree in Financial Management Sciences, both from the University of Pretoria, South Africa. Ms. Manhica is fluent in English and Portuguese and has basic notions of French. Ms. Manhica, apart from being technically capable of delivering results, is a great communicator and motivator and understands the culturally diverse nature of organizations and how to bring people together to promote a harmonious working environment.
