
Michelle Nhanombe Cover Letter I believe that my current and past work experience have prepared me for this role of for the following reasons: Working as an Executive Assistant at an Embassy has provided me with a variety of technical skills that apply to the field of project management such as being organized, planning and execution of projects, events and programmes at the Embassy. Ensuring the efficient working of the Ambassador’s office, effective management of the Ambassador’s diary and internal and external correspondence, arranging internal and external meetings and collating briefing, interaction with Mozambican authorities on protocol. Management of the Ambassador’s office, including day-to-day management of the Ambassador’s diary, arranging meetings with a range of dignitaries as well as dealing with internal and external correspondence (including letters, briefing requests and invitations). Responsible for protocol issues: liaising with the Mozambican entities on protocol issues, including around the arrival and departure of diplomats, and the issuing of Note Verbales and other diplomatic correspondence. Working at a small Embassy within a small team has given me exposure to multi-sectorial departments including assisting with Consular issues, Administrative, Human resources, procurement, with staff holidays and including assisting the financial Attaché, developed skills to interact with governmental authorities, companies, individuals and dignitaries. My role as an health insurance customer care assistant also gave me the ability to interact with a variety of clients and to manage many groups of people at the same time as well as supervise companies and individuals. I have also learnt the importance of discretion with people’s private information, which I have used in my current position as a Secretary to an Ambassador.
