While working as a Laboratory Technician, Advisor or Project Manager, I trained, supervised and provided tools to the various technicians to improve the quality of laboratory results in the central region of the country (Tete, Manica and Sofala), which resulted in the improvement of the performance of their laboratories [ Ex: Tete Provincial Hospital went from zero (0) to three (3) stars in the INS-MoH Laboratory Accreditation Program]. I established sites to host Mobile laboratories after assessing the indicated Health Facilities near the enumeration areas for the survey (HIV Surveillance) so that they receive specimens correctly collected from the field, process and transport to Maputo safely. For these activities I had a component to determine the necessary supplies for the survey in accordance with the in-country team and regional office and also advice in selection of Laboratory and Health Technicians. These roles required me to coordinate with MoH, Provincial Health Directions and NGOs to establish the budget for the activities in the Laboratory area. Under my guidance samples were correctly transported, tested and test results were returned in time
