Key Working Skills and Competencies -->Able to work with others to achieve a common goal – Served on the School Board for two years as staff representative. Served on the High School StartUp committee. Served as the Child Protection Team Leader from 2019 to August 2022. -->Able to lead and manage others to complete work and tasks to deadline. – Current Child Protection Team Leader. Oversaw High School Leadership in its pioneering stage. Have led curriculum development in the Primary School. --> Task and administratively oriented, organised and able to meet deadlines - meeting deadlines for documentation in the teaching environment. --> Competent IT skills with daily use of Microsoft platforms and frequent work with shared documents on Google Drive. --> Strong oral and written communication skills - facilitating training sessions, creating and liaising on policy documents, for example, the Child Protection Policy and Medical Policy. Additionally, I have been involved with assisting in written/oral communication to stakeholders within and outside of the school community. -->Creative and open to new ideas and able to adapt to changing environments – working in differing schools, with differing methods and differing needs of students means as a teacher one constantly has to reassess one’s self and look for new creative ways to deliver information and communicate on various platforms.
