
Mr Antonio has a Master’s Degree in Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (Denmark and Sweden); Postgraduate on Environment impact assessment and management (Mozambique). Has more than 12 years experience providing consultancy services and managing projects (seven out of the 12 years managed two USAID funded projects). His experience cover Program management, governance, Civil Society Organization capacity building, resources mobilizations, gender, and youth mobilization. His experience includes also work on environment management, emergency management, disaster risk reduction, resilience to climate change thematic and environment and nature based solutions to climate change adaptation. Moreover, he is familiar with safeguarding and safe programming approach including Result Based Management (RBM) and Logical Framework for Action (LFA), management tools used in working with different stakeholders including CSO partners throughout the country. He is experienced and effective communicator to broad audiences, ranging from donor, government line ministries as well as local stakeholders. His education background and work with the Government, multilateral and bilateral partners including USAID and UN system funded projects enabled him to have a good understanding of the country political, social, cultural, environmental, and development contexts and priorities.
