Eduardo MACHAVA is now living in Pemba the capital city of Cabo Delgado Province. He’s bachelor in Agronomy; with production and Protection orientation by Eduardo Mondlane University of Mozambique. He is about 26 years of work experience of them 24 years in Management position, conducting Rural and community development, Food Security, Agriculture, Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) Project, including Emergencies Projects caused by the natural disasters (IDAI cyclone) and terrorism in Cabo Delgado Province. During this period, Eduardo Machava have managed 8 different Food Security, livelihood and income generation Projects in 18 years targeting more than 30000 smallholder farmers as well as 50 farmers associations. He also targeted with Improved WASH for Manica and Vanduzi Urban Poor areas Project around 9884 school pupils, 283 teachers in 19 Primary Schools and more than 7000 Householders during 3 years, where different WASH approaches were implemented, in development context. From 2019, Machava implemented different actions of WASH, Income generation activities as well as food security and inclusion in Emergency context in Sofala, Manica and Cabo Delgado Provinces.
