• Practical field Disasters Relief Assistance (DRA) Implementation and Support during National Disasters events and situations requiring urgent field communities’ assistance on the ground- training and working with Local Community Based Disasters Risks Management Committee and Community Based Natural Resources Committees, Famine Early Warning Systems Network (FEWS NET), SDAE, SDPI, INAM, INAHINA, INGD Southern African Regional Inter-Agency Standing Committee (RIASCO) and others in the context of Mozambique and Africa. • Knowledge of the Climate Risk Screening and Management (CRM) Tools for USAID Projects and Activities (under the ADS Chapter 201 policy), including Identification of Climate risk Management (CRM) measures appropriate for future stages of the Program Cycle (ADS 201.3.1.3) to identify (Low, Moderate and High Risk) Activities Ratings. • Knowledge Knowledge of the Bureau for Humanitarian Assistance (USA/BHA) interventions, goals and objectives across the globe and in Mozambique and of previous USAID Mozambique Climate Resilience Projects implemented such as: i) Coastal City Adaptation Project (CCAP), ii) Media Strengthening Program, iii) IOM WASH Program, iv) The World Vision Program Food Security Program, v) International Potato Center (IPC) Sweet Potato Program and vi) The Food and Nutrition Technical Assistance Project (FANTA III), • Extensive experience in supporting the delivery of Climate Resilience and Disasters Risk Reduction in Mozambique and in Southern Africa, including the (UN) funded projects that aimed to support the National Disasters Management Institute (INGD) to support the following climate change and Disasters Risk reduction products to be implemented in Mozambique, namely: i) Establishment of Early Warning at a different scales in Mozambique, ii) Implement a pilot project to demonstrate mainstreaming of CCA/DRR into land use planning, iii) Doing more with less “Water” through institutional arrangements for
