AREAS OF EXPERTISE • Child Safeguarding and social protection of the vulnerable • Rehabilitation, reintegration and advocacy of offenders • Life skills training of offenders to raise self-awareness and personal growth • Assisting in resolving industrial relations issues as per the Tel-One Code • Understanding of the Legislative Framework inclusive of which are the Constitution of the Republic of South Africa Act; Social Services Professions Act; Human Rights Act; Criminal Procedure Act, Law of Evidence Act; Child Justice Act; Probation Services Act; Correctional Services Act; Domestic Violence Act; Sexual Offences and Related Matters Act • Research: Application and understanding of Qualitative, Quantitative and Mixed Research Methods. • Intensive training and facilitation of Probation Officers from the Western Cape Province • Liaison with various stakeholders including law enforcement and government agencies, training administrators, communities and other relevant groups • Investigation, case management and recommendation of offenders to the magistrate for sentencing • Counselling of offenders and conducting community outreach programs; • Project Planning • Data Capturing • ICT Laboratory Training.
