I am a military officer with 13 years' experience in the security sector, nine of which as an intelligence analyst, with experience working in team effort with other security forces, civilian government institutions, non-governmental organizations and external partners. I have an extensive professional experience in the fields of international relations, security, conflict resolution, intelligence, criminal investigation, security risk assessment, and counter-terrorism. I have a degree in International Relations and Diplomacy, with a specialization in Security Studies, and a master degree in Criminal Investigation, with extensive professional and research experience in these fields. I am very familiar with general security in Mozambique, with in-depth understanding of the security context of the provinces of Cabo Delgado and Nampula, as since 2019 I have been responsible for monitoring the security dynamics of this operational environment, gathering information on security, establish field-based networks, assess risks, map conflicts and monitor the dynamics of local security. From 202O to 2024, I held management positions at the Ministry of National Defence, acting as Security Advisor and head of the Strategic Cooperation and Research. I am also a consultant and security advisor on the security situation and terrorism in the Northern Mozambique at Eagle Strategy Consulting. I have relevant experience in liaising with governmental and non-governmental institutions, and I am familiar with the United Nations security management system, the fundamentals of acceptance/protection/deterrence in hostile environments, principles and fundamentals safety and security before deployment, equity and inclusion, and prevention of sexual exploitation and abuse. I am ready to new challenges with any organization acting in the field of Security to achieve its goals.
