2019/02/11 Contracted by COTOP, but providing services to AECOM / DNGRH as HSE Monitor in the Corumana Dam Completion Works project, financed by the World Bank with the following functions: - Daily site inspections to investigate the Contractors environmental compliance with legislative requirements, CEMP, EMP and Method Statements. - Weekly environmental checklists noting the compliance status of activities on site and timeframes for corrective actions of non-compliances. - The issuing of Non Compliance Records and penalties in the event that non-compliances on site are not rectified after immediate intervention with no environmental impact. - Advise the Contractor and associated sub-contractors on environmental improvement, awareness, and proactive pollution prevention measures; - Specify remedial mitigation measures that the Contractor must carry out, in the case of non- compliance with any part of the EMP, CEMP or other environmental legal requirements. - Oversee the implementation of remedial measures to reduce environmental damage and improve health and safety practices of the Contractor - Daily site inspections to investigate the Contractors environmental compliance with legislative requirements, CEMP, EMP and Method Statements. - Weekly environmental checklists noting the compliance status of activities on site and timeframes for corrective actions of non-compliances. - The issuing of Non Compliance Records and penalties in the event that non-compliances on site are not rectified after immediate intervention with no environmental impact. - Advise the Contractor and associated sub-contractors on environmental improvement, awareness, and proactive pollution prevention measures; - Specify remedial mitigation measures that the Contractor must carry out, in the case of non- compliance with any part of the EMP, CEMP or other environmental legal requirement.
