Dércio is experienced professional working in remote communities, supporting them to improve their livelihoods from his first employment experience in INGC, where he performed different tasks during his internship, and afterwards as an employee he has also participated in the development of the INGC Master Plan. He has also experience in M&E of projects in Water and Sanitation, and Malaria with the Aga Khan in Cabo-Delgado, and then on Disaster Risk Reduction and Gender, building partnerships and coordinating of with the government institutions, donors, private sector, and civil society. On DRR experience, He has worked with other projects in Angoche (Nampula) and Homoíne (Inhambane), to support gender initiatives through identification of weakness at communities level and take advantage of local resources to adapt to climate change and strength their resilience to shocks. The last experience with USAID on Agriculture Environment and Business as M&E Specialist for development projects in Mozambique, supporting Agriculture, Nutrition, Agro-business, Biodiversity, Policy, Energy, WASH, Resilience and Climate Change in rural and urban areas. These experiences linked with his professional background and skills as a result oriented professional.
