
Luciano Paulo Langa is Data Analyst, with 8 Years of experience in Data Analysis, Database Management, Power BI, GIS, Remote Sensing, Cartography, and Photogrammetry. He is Management Information Systems Assistant Manager at Montepuez Ruby Mining. He used to be Monitoring & Evaluation and GIS Officer at WWF Mozambique. He used to be Data Analyst in Mozambique Leaf Tobacco Company (A Member Of Universal Leaf) for 5 years, where used to create Power BI, Database Management, SQL, Map tobacco and forestry areas, crop and forestry monitoring, crop estimates (Volume) using satellite imagery (NDVI, ENVI), Network Analyses for firewood distribution, Multicriteria Decision Analyses for Tobacco, Forestry, Dams, and Borehole suitable/potential sites, watershed generation and Analyses. He has been analysing Rainfall Reliability vs Tobacco Yield (scripts and statistics). He also used to work in the United Nations Organisations for Food and Agriculture as GIS and Database Specialist, for the identification and mapping of erosion areas in the Northern of Mozambique. The task included: Identification of the erosion areas using satellite imagery, data collection in the field using GPS, Data entrance to the database, queries, analyses, maps, graphics and final report. He was trained and worked in drinking water and sanitation quality and monitoring, samples collection, laboratory tests and reports. He used to be surveys supervisor for 2 times at Eduardo Mondlane University. He's also experience in GIS and Remote Sensing for Natural Resources, Natural Disasters, Geomedicine, Territorial Planning, Resettlement, GIS and Remote Sensing Trainer, Field work, team leading, and interviews.
