Emergency Project Manager (Cyclone Tropical Freddy - Zambézia) Plan international is a development and humanitarian organisation that advances children’s rights and equality as well as providing emergency assistance to affected people putting in centre girls and children, women chronic ill, disability and elder headed households. Funded by Global AffairsCanada – International Humanitairan Assistance, the project responds to two components namely: (i) WASH and (ii) Child Protection in the context of emergency and aims to contribute to responding to the urgent humanitarian needs of 8,200 of the most vulnerable people affected by Tropical Cyclone Freddy in Namacura district.  Oversee and coordinate the project implementation in Namacura district and participate and coordinate meetings in the Clusters and other relevant stakeholdersm;  Participate and monitor the identification and distribution of WASH kits (for clean and safe water, personal hygiene supplies for families, girls and young women) in the communities;  Facilitate the construction/rehabilitation and equip Child-Friendly Spaces (CFS) and deliver recreational/PSS activities for affected boys, girls and adolescents to provide access to safe, dignified psychosocial support activities, recreational and therapeutic materials (toys, stationery, child friendly toiletries etc)  In collaboration with relevant institutions elaborate, reproduce, disseminate/broadcasting messages on WASH and Child Protection;  Monitor budget execution and progress report activities as per Plan International and Donor requirments. Main results:  Identified and distributed 1600 hygiene kits to most vulnerable and affected people; 100 families received monthly basic basket, 1255 girls and young women girls received dignity kits and more than 8000 people benefited of prevention information against water-borne diseases, child, early and forced marriage, sexual gender based violence.
