Willow International School is recruiting a Yearly Childhood Teacher and Primary Teacher, to be based in Matola.
Duties
- Plan activities using a variety of materials and equipment to develop good coordination, social skills, creativity, self-expression and an interest in learning
- Promote awareness and appreciation of diversity in multicultural societies
- Working with others, including teaching assistantes and/or nursery nurses as well as volunteer helpers, to plan and coordinate work both indoors and outdoors
- Promote health and safety concepts and social interaction with other children
- Observe children to evaluate and record each child progress
- Discuss aspects of children's development with parents/guardians
- Attending in-serving training
Requisites
- Must have a Diploma in Early Childhood Education or Primary Education
- Minimum of 2 - 3 years of relevant teaching experience
- Must be fluent written / spoken English (required)
- Full time position (including Saturdays morning)
- Basic computer skills
- Mozambican Nationality or foreign with D.I.R.E.
