Yearly Childhood Teacher and Primary Teacher

Willow International School is recruiting a Yearly Childhood Teacher and Primary Teacher, to be based in Matola.

Duties

• Plan activities using a variety of materials and equipment to develop good coordination, social skills, creativity, self-expression and an interest in learning
• Promote awareness and appreciation of diversity in multicultural societies
• Working with others, including teaching assistantes and/or nursery nurses as well as volunteer helpers, to plan and coordinate work both indoors and outdoors
• Promote health and safety concepts and social interaction with other children
• Observe children to evaluate and record each child progress
• Discuss aspects of children's development with parents/guardians
• Attending in-serving training

Requisites

• Must have a Diploma in Early Childhood Education or Primary Education
• Minimum of 2 - 3 years of relevant teaching experience
• Must be fluent written / spoken English (required)
• Full time position (including Saturdays morning)
• Basic computer skills
• Mozambican Nationality or foreign with D.I.R.E.
