Voucher Supervisor

US Embassy is recruiting a Voucher Supervisor, to be based in Maputo, Mozambique.

Duties

• Incumbent is the Team Leader of the Vouching Unit within the Financial Management Office at the US Embassy Maputo, actively supervising and coaching three Voucher Examiners and ensuring that payments are made in a timely manner, in accordance with US Government regulations
• The incumbent is responsible for maintaining copies of post’s Contracting and Grants Officers’ Warrants in the FMO office, updating the Certifying Officer file every time a certifying officer departs post and a new one arrives and ensures that post records are in agreement with CFSC’s. The incumbent is also responsible for the maintenance of the officers’ signature certificates

Requisites

• A Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, or mathematics is required AND a minimum of three years of progressively responsible experience in technical accounting or bookkeeping work at an international organization, NGO, diplomatic mission, or commercial bank
• Completion of two years of post-secondary studies in accounting, finance, business, or mathematics is required AND a minimum of five years of progressively responsible experience in technical accounting or bookkeeping work at an international organization, NGO, diplomatic mission, or commercial bank
• At least one year of supervisory experience is also required
• Level IV English (fluency) is required
• Level IV Portuguese (fluency) is required
