Vodacom is recruiting a Territory Supervisor, to be based in Zambézia.

Duties
  • Work closer with Strategic Super Dealers that specializes in Wholesale. Wholesale of Airtime (Physical and Virtual) and Starter Packs
  • Supervise the National Territory Program in your Province, doing trade visits, reporting and Quality Checks
  • Make sure stock availability of VM products and services and knowledge thereof, ensuring that all dealers are well stocked and trained at all time
  • Your main role will be to ensure Prepaid Gross Connections and Revenue in your Region via the Wholesale Super Dealers and the VM Direct Model and at the same time mitigate churn, fraud and possible losses that could damage VM
  • Increase Data connections and revenue
  • You are required to achieve and exceed the pre-set Sales targets regionally (Pre-Paid, Data and Revenue etc.)
  • Ensure that all Super Dealers, Sub Dealers, Baracas & Street Vendors are fully trained on VM Products and Services, that they all carry VM stock at all times.( This must be Ongoing)
  • You are required to implement 24/7/365 support programs from VM to Street Vendors and Dealers etc
  • Implement effective monthly promotions in these channels & your territories / Province
  • Resolve all operational issues within a reasonable timeframe; and in line with VM SLA’s (SOP, Warehouse, Logistics’ etc.)
  • Implement regular store visits (call cycles) and do intensive field visits to sites
  • Manage and ensure good relations between Super Dealers, Sub Dealers, Baracas & Street Vendors
  • Comply with Policies and Procedures and where they are already in existence you are required to consistently review
  • Supply reporting weekly base and when needed
  • Set up the 1o1, call reports and face to face management process in order to support and manage the TSRs
  • Manage the outlet look and feel, Products and Services and Staff in line with VM standards. (Sales look everything under the 4 Walls)
  • Work closely with other departments like Marketing, Commercial, and Operations etc. ensuring VM success
  • Drive monthly Pre Paid & ULCH deals
  • Manage other Virtual Products like VTU and MPESA in to the Channels and Province
  • Manage stock availability within all your dealer stores
  • Do Pre Paid stock forecasting and manage in accordance, so you’re Province is well stocked and aligned with Targets
  • Drive personal training and development for your team as well as your own
  • Understand key business areas like Health and Safety, CMT, PBO, People Survey & CURA etc. and their impact to the business
  • Work with Speed Simplicity and Trust
Requisites
  • A Diploma in Commerce, Business Management or Marketing etc)
  • Further diplomas or certificates in Retail, Wholesale & Process Management will be an advantage
  • Minimum 2 Years professional experience in large telecommunications/ FMCG/ Financial Services concern in the areas of business intelligence, products and services, and pricing management
  • At least 5 – 8 Years working experience and must have managed a team of 2 to 10 people
  • Ability to compile reports on daily operational tasks, expert word processor and PowerPoint skills is a distinct advantage
  • Strong Sales Planning Skills
  • Strong stock management skills
  • Advanced proficiency in ms office mandatory
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills (Portuguese and English)
  • Strong RETAIL understanding
