System Infrastructure & Helpdesk Specialist


Aldelia is recruiting a System Infrastructure & Helpdesk Specialist, to be based in Maputo, Mozambique.
  • Manages the Domain Controller of the Company in order to distribute the GPO to the end user and takes care of the creation, modification, and deletion of user id of the Company’s network in Active Directory
  • Takes care of the reconciliation of the user id and the Company email account
  • Monitors, update and request issue modifications to the system to ENI HQ in order to prevent failures
  • Provides technical support for the preparation of tasks
  • When requested, lead any intervention within the scope of his area of expertise
  • Monitors any specialists working under Specific Maintenance Contracts (local or centralized) carrying out and checking the quality of their interventions
  • Monitors the values of the parameters and alarms in the systems with respect to the monitoring of operating conditions
  • Proposes to his direct responsible the relevant actions to be taken to improve the availability of the systems
  • Ensures that all software is upgraded and that weekly backups
  • Degree in IT or similar
  • More than 3 years of previous experience in the same or similar role
  • Windows Server certification mandatory
  • Windows 10 and other MS certifications is a plus
  • VMWARE certification is a plus
  • NETAPP certification is a plus
  • SQL server DB certification is a plus
  • Understanding of TCP/IP protocols and LAN/WAN
  • ITIL Certification is a plus
  • Fluent Portuguese and English, spoken and written
