Supervisor Production Execution (Carbon / Roding Shop)

BHP Billiton is recruiting a Supervisor Production Execution (Carbon / Roding Shop), to be based in Boane.

Duties

• Supervise, co-ordinate and control the process of the Rodding Shop
• Monitor the process/production parameters using standard procedures
• Optimize processes and equipment by ensuring that production/process quality in the plant is maintained
• Provide personnel training and implement strategies and best practices, by explaining/demonstrating techniques and methods to maintain production
• Provide input and technical expertise with respect to the implementation of Process Projects undertaken in the Rodding Shop area
• Develop long term schedule for production and daily audit plan quality control

Requisites

• Bachelor's Degree with minimum 4 years of relevant experience; or a Medium Technician Institute Certificate with minimum 6 years of relevant experience; or a Grade 12 Certificate with minimum 6 years of relevant experience
• Exposed to the Roding Shop Plant or equivalent areas that include 2 years in a leadership role
• Be computer literate and English language proficient
