BHP Billiton is recruiting a Supervisor Production Execution (Carbon / Anode Bake Furnace), to be based in Boane.
Duties
- Supervise, co-ordinate and control the process of the Anode Baking Furnace Refractory Lining program
- Monitor the process/production parameters using standard procedures
- Optimize processes and equipment
- Ensure that production/process quality in the plant is maintained
- Provide and implement training strategies, best practices, by explaining/demonstrating techniques and methods to maintain production and personnel
- Provide input and technical expertise with respect to the implementation of Process Projects undertaken in the Anode Baking Furnace area
- Develop long term schedule for ABF Refractory Maintenance
- Develop daily audit plan quality control
Requisites
- Bachelor's Degree with minimum 4 years of relevant experience; or a Medium Technician Institute Certificate with minimum 6 years of relevant experience; or a Grade 12 Certificate with minimum 6 years of relevant experience
- Exposed to the Roding Shop Plant or equivalent areas that include 2 years in a leadership role
- Be computer literate and English language proficient
