BHP Billiton is recruiting a Supervisor NPI Contractor Management, to be based in Boane.
Duties
- Responsible to spend appropriate time in the field to supervise and manage the performance of contracts in order to achieve established KPI targets
- Ensure contracts deliver the expected quality of services safely and in accordance with the relevant standards and operating procedures
- Supervise and Interact with suppliers on a day to day basis throughout the duration of the contract agreement
- Ensure that the teams know the material risks of their area and the associated critical controls as well as monitor compliance
- Verify key service outcomes (productivity, cost savings and quality)
- Conduct regular inspection of contractor activities and Search for improvement opportunities
- Verify and monitor agreed plans and action
- Consistent appraisal supplier's performance based on agreed KIP's
- The purpose of this role is to assume a single point responsibility and accountability for every contract agreement with the service providers allocated to you
Requisites
- Ideally you will have a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent with minimum 4 years of relevant experience or Medium Institute Technician or Grade 12 Certificate with minimum 6 years' of relevant experience
- Show specific expertise and ability to promote respective work discipline according to the local jurisdiction and be self-reliant
