Subsea Control System & Umbilical Engineer (m/f)


Aldelia is recruiting a Subsea Control System & Umbilical Engineer (m/f), to be based in Maputo, Gaza and Inhambane, Mozambique.
  • Assisting the Manager in the following:
  • Follow-up the detail engineering performed by the SPS Contractor relevant to subsea production, injection and work over subsea instrumentation and control systems
  • Review of Contractors’ subsea umbilical, distribution and control systems design and preparation of comment sheets
  • Expediting of technical interfaces
  • Reviewing and commenting technical documentation produced by the Contractors (e.g. technical reports, specifications, procedures, drawings, etc.) ensuring the implementation of the established procedures, applicable codes, COMPANY standards and specification, Contract, International standards and Engineering best practices
  • Resolving ongoing technical issues concerning all aspects of subsea control equipment
  • Monitoring and reporting technical progress to the SPS Work Package Manager
  • Ensure that all internal and external Interfaces (especially with FPSO) are correctly managed by Contractor
  • Witnessing of acceptance tests
  • Support to offshore installation, commissioning and production start-up
  • 5 years of Oil & Gas Industry experience
  • 3 years of instrumentation and automation experience (5 preferable)
  • 3 years of unbounded umbilical/flexible pipe design manufacturing and installation (5 preferable)
