Heading is recruiting a Spare Parts Manager, to be based in Maputo, Mozambique.
Duties
- Customer Support & Service Delivery: Ensure strong ability to balance operational demands, budget constraints, and long supply lead times, while delivering high customer satisfaction
- Manage end-to-end spare parts operations, including inventory control, warehousing, and logistics
- Ensure optimal stock levels aligned with consumption trends and budget constraints
- Lead replenishment planning, considering long lead times and urgent operational demands
- Oversee warehouse operations, ensuring compliance with SPMS and HSE standards
- Coordinate import/export, transportation, and reverse logistics processes
- Support field operations and emergency fault resolution through timely spare parts availability
- Monitor and report on KPIs such as inventory accuracy, availability rate, and fulfillment lead time
- Control inventory value and operational costs, reducing obsolete and slow-moving stock
- Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, ensuring continuity of service delivery
- Ensure inventory accuracy, accountability, and system alignment across all regional warehouses by conducting structured monthly cycle counts
- Improve inventory accuracy to >98%, reducing stock discrepancies
Requisites
- 2+ years experience in spare parts / warehouse / supply chain management
- Experience in telecommunications industry is a strong advantage
- Fluent in english
- Proven experience in inventory control and logistics coordination
