Senior Reliability Engineer

CCI-GrowthCon is hiring a Senior Reliability Engineer for Maputo.

Duties

• Analyse equipment performance and provide guidance to maintenance activities
• Set up effective maintenance strategies using various methodologies
• Ensure that maintenance strategies and activities adequately cover the legally required inspections and tests
• Provide guidance in Condition Monitoring, e.g. Vibration Analysis, Thermograpics, Tribology, Laser Alignment, Thickness testing, etc
• Implement and coordinate Root Cause Failure Analysis programmes
• Facilitate Reliability Improvement processes
• Trending and interpretation of reports will guide maintenance activities and provide feedback
• Provide guidance to maintenance teams on methods to conduct effective maintenance
• Provide guidance to Maintenance Planners to ensure they are effective in their roles
• Assist in setting up control and management system for critical spares
• Provide guidelines to the operations for cost of maintenance for annual budgets
• Advise and assist with problems involving maintenance
• Provide leadership, training and support to develop maintenance functions. (skills and systems)
• Continually monitor progress of all work and projects assigned to ensure timely, efficient and safe completion of all tasks
• Assist in Set up the Predictive Maintenance program and ensure the continual improvement with compliances and for the results
• Participate and contribute towards the Continual Improvement program for Maintenance Department
• Other tasks as assigned by the Manager

Requisites

• Degree from a recognised tertiary institution in Engineering
• Professional Registration with Engineers Registration Board e.g. ECSA advantageous (Optional)
• Exposure to the challenges of operating at remote sites and in particular developing countries
• 5+ years of experience as a practicing Engineer
• Experience with maintenance statutory inspections and maintenance strategy standards of heavy engineering industry is required
• Knowledge and experience in RCM strategies and models
• Solid experience in condition monitoring
• Personal Competencies
• Ability to mentor and work with people from a wide range of nationalities and cultures and the willingness to share skills and knowledge with others
• Excellent planning, organisation skills, with demonstrated ability to manage multiple responsibilities and the self-discipline to achieve tasks on time
