Security Supervisor (m/f)

Duties

• Lead the assigned team to conduct specific tasks, both internally and for clients
• Support and report to signed safety and security managers

Internal SAFSEC support

• Support and manage signed team members
• Execute and assist with the development of Mozambique security team, to support a high quality security team being established
• Partake in and manage physical protection responsibilities, including but not limited to asset protection, workplace violence prevention, access control, video surveillance and more
• Assist with the development of incident response planning, emergency action planning and crisis management planning
• Provide daily and weekly reports to linear manager as required

Commercial SAFSEC support

• Supervise lower level team members and assist Safety and Security Managers to ensure appropriate safety and security support to SAFSEC programs and projects
• Assist with the development of commercial proposals for clients in line with local business development requirements
• Support projects through the active supervision of security guards on site, ensuring they are fulfilling duties in accordance with contract requirements an employer standards

Requisites

• 1-2 experience in Leadership position
• 2-3 in a safety and security related field, i.e. corporate security, military, police, etc.
• Capability to read and write in Portuguese
• Physical fit for the in the field tasks
• Able to travel nationwide
• Driver's licence

Desirable

• Leadership role in prior working experience
• Good in English would be an asset
• IT skills and demonstrate ability to use software such as Microsoft
